Welcome to Riverside and prepare to enjoy the ultimate Smoky Mountain experience from this newly renovated authentic log cabin that was carefully taken from Cade's Cove and placed right on the banks of the Little River. This three bedroom two bath also adjoins the Townsend bike paths where you can enjoy bike rides or walks throughout the town. The location's convenience is unmatched, as you are less than five minutes from the IGA Grocery Store, area restaurants and shops, and less than a mile from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The fully equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and over-sized farm sink. Family and friends can gather for family meals in the spacious dining room, which overlooks the river. Fall and Winter nights make the large living room the perfect spot for gathering around the cozy fireplace to visit, read books, or play games. The Queen bedroom is located on the main floor, as well as another Bunk room that offers a set of bunk beds to sleep four. There is also a full bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs you will find a luxurious Primary bedroom Suite that offers a King bed and double vanity in suite bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub. The outdoors are at your fingertips with a large open deck that overlooks the rushing waters, complete with a park style charcoal grill, patio furniture, and a lawn area for kids to play outside. This area boasts one of the best fishing holes in the Townsend area and is inundated with tubers, as you are below the dam in a quiet spot. Keep your vehicle and other toys in the dry, underneath the carport. Once you discover Riverside, you will make this historic Smoky Mountain log cabin your base camp.
